Mr. Bobby Clomer Berry
August 10, 1932 – January 28, 2019

Mr. Bobby Clomer Berry age 86, of Hampton, GA passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Berry was born on August 10, 1932 in Henry County. He made a living as a machinist with Mead Packaging and retired after 42 years with the company. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard. Mr. Berry was a hardworking, family man. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and working in his shop. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Clomer Berry; mother, Ellen Bessie Sexton; step-father, J. D. Sexton; brother, Larry Berry; sister, Carolyn Stiles; and step-brother, Carl Sexton.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Betty Jane Berry; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Melinda Berry, Bruce and Lynn Berry, and Wade and Debbie Berry; daughter and son-in-law, Jil and John Haney; grandchildren, Chuck Berry, Gabriel Berry, Lauren McDonald, Jared Berry, Amber Berry, Holly Smith, Jesse Smith, Jill Pitcher, John Haney, Zack Haney and Zeke Haney; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Martha Berry and Harry and Connie Berry; sister, Joyce Ann Maddox; step-brother, David Sexton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Clomer Berry will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Pastor Thad Berrey will officiate. Interment will follow in Berea Cemetery in Hampton, with military honors. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Kids and Teen Camp Ministry at Calvary Baptist Church 109 Oak St., Hampton, GA 30228 in memory of Mr. Bobby Clomer Berry.
