Condolence: Dennis was one of a kind and even though I’ve left FNS, I enjoyed keeping up with him and his family through Facebook. I could tell from all of his posts how much he loved you all. While working, Dennis was a great support who never made you feel that you were asking dumb questions. He had so much knowledge he was willing to share! Dennis was a great support to me last year when my husband of 43 years passed away and I appreciated so much being able to talk and share with someone else who had also lost the love of his life. He will always live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew him and I know he is with Sue today looking down on you all and sending love your way! You are all in my prayers.

Condolence: Dear Rector Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss. Dennis was one of the first people to welcome me when I visited the Atlanta office. His hearty welcome immediately made me feel part of the FNS family. He truly had a love for his family, that’s one memory that has stayed with me. He will be missed dearly.~ Kim Jackson

Condolence: I worked with Dennis for many years and financial management. As a member of the IT staff he provided great service to the employees of the Food and Nutrition Service. Dennis was always very friendly, great sense of humor, and I remember big laughs from him when he thought something was funny. So sorry for your loss.

Condolence: Have you ever met someone who was so kind and patient? Dennis was this person. No question was ever too dumb or trivial for him to answer. No problem was ever going to stump him. I will miss his booming voice and laugh and the way he made you feel better after an encounter with him. Dennis you will be forever in my heart and mind. Thoughts and prayers to the family for your profound loss.
