September 8, 1962 – November 7, 2017

Mr. Joseph Aldean (Joe Dean) Rosser, age 55, of Barnesville, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mr. Rosser was born on September 8, 1962, in Covington, GA to the late Aldean and JoAnn Rosser. Joe Dean was a true outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish (especially with his grandchildren), camp, and be outside enjoying nature. He was an electrician by trade, but could do, make, or build anything with his hands. Joe Dean was a caring person with a big heart, and a hard worker who took his job seriously. He was honest, trustworthy, and always had a smile.

Mr. Rosser is survived by his wife, Melinda Hoard Rosser of Barnesville; daughter Kristie Lynn (Chris) McEachin of Hazelhurst; stepdaughter Nicki Hoard of Sunnyside; grandchildren, Jodie, Hunter, and Mackenzie; sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma and Chipper Gardner of Griffin, and Lisa and Steve Petty of McDonough; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles who loved him very much.

Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Aldean (Joe Dean) Rosser will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Reverend John Sims will officiate. Interment will follow at Locust Grove City Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
