July 1, 1953 – January 8, 2018

Mrs. Margaret “Maggie” Ann Cacioppo, age 64, of Griffin, GA went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, January 8, 2018.

Maggie was born on July 1, 1953 in Munich Germany to the late George Boone and the late Marie Waddell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Cacioppo. Together Maggie and Joey raised two wonderful children, Michael and Sarah. Due to the unfortunate passing of her husband in October of 2000, she moved back to the greater Atlanta area to be closer to her family. Maggie's faith was her foundation in life which was evident by her endless passion for sharing the Word of God.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Michael Edwards; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Michele Cacioppo; grandchildren, Joseph Cacioppo, Anthony Cacioppo, Gabrielle Edwards, Haydn Edwards and Adam Edwards; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dianna and Robert Ware, Tammy and Paul Fredrickson, Sherrie and Rocco Fisher, and Sieglinde and Christopher England; brothers and sister-in-law, George Boone and Jeanne Herter, and David Boone.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret “Maggie” Ann Cacioppo will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 3:30 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
