Mr. Tony Lee Colvard

Mr. Tony Lee Colvard, age 62, of Griffin, GA passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at his residence, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Colvard was born on May 29, 1956 in Griffin, to the late Gladys Colvard and the late Willie Colvard. He was a member of Rock Springs Church. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Kamari McGinty; and brother, Murry Colvard
Survivors include his wife, Queenester Colvard; daughters and sons in law, Shawanda and Ellis Londell Berry, and Jermelia and Shedrick Combs; sons, Marvin Sands and Anderson Sands; grandchildren, Monlasta Sands, Marvin Sands, Jr., Gabrielle Willingham, Olivia Allen, Taylor Peavy, Micah Allen, Quentia Sands, Latisha Sands, Mariques Sands, and Lakyna Sands; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dean Willingham, Naomi Colvard, Mary Colvard and Lorraine Colvard; brothers, Robert Colvard, Alfredo Colvard, and Kirby Colvard; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for Mr. Tony Lee Colvard will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Pastor Clint Davis will officiate. Interment will follow in Rock Springs Church Cemetery in Milner. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday evening from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Rushton’s Hope Ministries at P. O. Box 1944, Griffin, GA 30224 in memory of Mr. Tony Lee Colvard.
