Mr. Wallace F. Searcy
January 16, 1944 – March 22, 2018

Mr. Wallace F. Searcy, age 74, of Griffin, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mr. Searcy was born in Griffin, GA, on January 16, 1944, to the late William and Evelene Searcy. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Dianne Searcy and son-in-law, Tim Smith. He worked as an electrician for 30 years with Dundee Mills and retired from 1888 Mills. He loved riding his motorcycle, and especially enjoyed riding with his friends to the mountains.

Mr. Searcy is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Lisa and Larry Sanford, and Beth Smith; grandchildren, Hannah Smith and her fiancé J. D. Powell, Aesa Smith, and Eve and Rodney Moore; and great-grandchild, Alena Moore.

A graveside funeral service for Mr. Wallace F. Searcy will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pastor Joel Stevens will officiate. Friends may visit the family Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
